Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer

"Ghostbusters" is one of my favorites of all time. I am aware that its movie that is apart of franchise that is writing a really strange modern history. I do like the 1989 sequel, but I know some people don't and that it was more divisive then I would have guessed. I was as open as anybody about the 2016 reboot, but the movie ultimately wasn't the movie I hoped for.

This leads us to "Ghostbusters: Afterlife," from Jason Reitman, the son of Ivan Reitman who made the original film. Jason has written and directed a new movie. It will feature the original cast. Honetly, I do enjoy this new trailer. It's taking the franchise in a different direction, with new characters, but still honoring the history of the franchise. This isn't a nostalgia overload, the original cast is barely hinted at here. Dare I say, its also doesn't look like the slapstick overload the 2016 reboot was.

I have to say, this has caught my attention.
