At the start of the day, I kept contemplating why and how I missed this.
Even though I love movies at a primal level and there is very little news that comes from Hollywood that I don't hear about, sometimes stories just fly under my radar and I miss them. But at the start of the day, I read that there was a trailer for a movie called "Birdman" starring Micheal Keaton. I instantly thought of "Harvey Birdman: Attorney of Law," an old comedic cartoon that had some bright moments. I thought this was a trailer for that, but then I watched the trailer and was proven otherwise.
"Birdman" is not an adaptation of "Harvey Birdman" so don't get confused. I wonder if the director of this film knows and understands "Harvey Birdman" and if that director does, I wonder if he is worried about being sued. But enough about Harvey Birdman for right now, let's take a look at this new trailer. It looks very warped and very weird. But at the same time, quite absorbing and interesting. I think I want to give this one a shot. It looks very surreal and I always love a good surreal movie.
"Birdman" has a great cast that includes Edward Norton and Emma Stone and it will be in theaters this October.
