English actor Toby Kebbell will be the next Doctor Doom in Josh Trank's "Fantastic Four" reboot. He will star along side Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Micheal B. Jordan and Jaime Bell who will play the Fantastic Four team. (Mara will be Sue Storm, Teller will be Reed Richards, Michael B. Jordan will be Johnny Storm and Jaime Bell will be Ben Grimm.) Kebbell has been in a vast array of films over the last few years, a career that includes "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," "War Horse," "Wrath of the Titans," and "RocknRolla." The part I personally am more updated with is his presence in last year's "The East." An underrated, misunderstood gem which he totally rocked.
I am curious to see how Kebbell handles this role and I am wildly excited to see what Trank saw in Kebbell to hire him. I think he is an incredibly gifted actor and with the right direction, he could bring to life one of Marvel's worst villains. Not only that, but he'll become a much bigger star in the process. While I am not crazy about the casting of the hero foursome yet, I am definitely excited about the main villain casting.
