Biggest Movie Badass Bracket!

You've been voting, here is how things shook out.

I didn't really give many rules when putting this bracket together, I let you all vote and contribute with ease. What was created from your suggestions is quite possibly the craziest thing I have ever put together.

As people were sending in their suggestions, there were trends that were forming. As the NCAA Final Four tournaments create four labels on the bracket (i.e. North, East, West, South schools), I did the same with the Badass bracket. We have 16 Action Heroes, 16 Amoral Figures, 16 Historical Figures, and 16 Fantasy Figures, which equals 64 of the baddest mofos in cinematic history.

Here is how the seeding was created due to votes and suggestions.

So those are the 64 characters competing in the bracket. In each sub-bracket, the rounds will work just like they do in basketball. 1 seed vs. 16 seed, 8 seed vs. 9 seed, 5 vs. 12, 4 vs. 13, 6 vs. 11, 3 vs. 14, 7 vs. 10 and 2 vs. 15. This is how each sub-bracket is set up.

You will have ALL WEEKEND to vote for the first rounds. To vote, send an email or reply below. You can write each sub-bracket then merely list the eight names you want to see advance. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. I'll be back Monday with the results of the first round vote.

I am trying to post a bracket I created online, once I can post it I will update this blogpost.

  1. The Bride for sure

  2. I do not understand how to vote

    1. The order in which each character is listed is how they are seeded, and the bracket works like a NCAA Final Four bracket. The 1st seed faces off against the 16th seed, for example James Bond (1st seed) will go against Chris Sanchez (16th seed). I really tried to make a bracket online to make it clearer to read, but couldn't get one saved.

I did however, make a bracket by hand. I posted it on this blog here:

I am also currently writing commentaries on each sub-bracket, which gives more clarity to who is up against who. But voting works like a basketball bracket.

      Hope this helps.
