A Look at yesterday's Super Bowl spots

I have been a big football fan all of my life. I always love a good Super Bowl. Sadly, last nights game was not as exciting as one would have hoped, given the teams who were playing. But we got an interesting look at some of this year's coming attractions. Here are the big movie spots from the Super Bowl, in case you missed them
I am not sure what to think of "Pompeii." I have recently dug into the first two seasons of "Game of Thrones" and I am quite fond of Kit Harington. Other than that, its hard to get a good read on this motion picture. However, I may check it out simply for Harington. The CGI doesn't look terrible, so maybe it might be a fun time at the movies. Maybe.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Loved this spot, absolutely loved it. I love that we got a really good look at The Falcon. I liked that we sort saw the struggle between The Winter Soldier and Captain America. I am sure The Captain will learn the truth, but when and where? I like that, even still, there is still a lot about this movie we don't know and there are characters we have not seen yet. This is a perfect example of great marketing.

Transformers: Age of Exstinction

Well, hum. Despite the apparent new direction, and an almost new cast. I was surprised to see that "Transformers 4" looks exactly like the previous films. I am pretty sure I guessed this entire movie based on the thirty-ish seconds of what I saw last night. However, I did get excited about finally seeing the dinobots in action. That was quite fun. This is still a big question mark for me, so we'll see how it goes.

3 Days Kill
I think this one was possibly the best marketed of all the TV spots which aired last night. It had a great hook, it was short, sweet and to the point. It went in one direction then the rest of spot went into a completely different direction. I have no idea what this movie holds, but I am excited. Costner has been wildly exciting to watch recently, so I have big hopes for this one.

I didn't cover everything. But I wanted to cover stuff I was most looking forward to and stuff I hadn't seen yet. I hope you enjoyed the show last night and I hope you enjoy these spots.
